I really like the B-Hyve app as well as it adjusts for rain and frost, as well as having different profiles depending on the season. This means you can set it up for an entire year and hopefully never have to worry.

The LinkTap is very similar to the B-Hyve and would be an equally smart choice. The app is a little less full-featured, but what it lacks in that regard, it makes up in massive battery life. The LinkTap will last over two years with a good set of AA batteries in it, and that is huge. It means you don't have to worry about it at all. Just set it and go.

The probe adds so much information
Self-named the "Intelligent Irrigation Control System," this setup from AZFUNN has a couple of nice tricks up its sleeve. The biggest and best addition is the soil sensor. It sticks into the ground and tells your controller the temperature and soil humidity, so it can better regulate your water timers. I love this feature, it makes the whole thing seem far smarter than it's competitors.
